I’m thrilled to have been chosen as one of six SSI delegates attending the Australian Women in Music Awards 2019 at Brisbane Powerhouse on 8-9 October. The event has turned the spotlight on female artists and industry professionals in the Australian Music scene. This year’s line up includes Katie Noonan, Renee Geyer and Claire Bowditch.

It’s a brilliant opportunity to boost my presence as a diverse voice in Australian music, being an artist from western Sydney who performs bilingual music with middle eastern influences. The event coincides with the completion of my ‘To Home Seas’ album project, providing an ideal platform to network and promote my upcoming release.
